And the mouse behaves the same way as with the Amiga+DMOUSE with a suitable acceleration. These features are provided by the operating system, as far as I know. Why don't put them in 1.4? I think that at least these functions should be taken away from POPCLI and (D|Q)MOUSE - like programs in order to instill them in the kernel, because they are so generally useful. Maybe some parameters can be adjusted to personal taste inside Preferences. A last thing which I really like is the ability of clip/paste between text windows: I understand that it must not be that simple, but if you succeed in adding this to the system we'll have a significant step toward a professional system.
