When I first had the "problem", however, 1.3 (and its shell and alias &tc) weren't available. Besides, I wouldn't have discovered the RAM: bug if I didn't write the (several versions of) "purge." :-) And pity to those who enter an extra space in their alias definition ... reminiscient of the "rm -f * .o" typo on UNIX systems.
