I'm really hoping someone out there can help with this.

First, I've been trying to get my Lucas board to work since January
when I finally got it built.  It has always worked, but I could never
get it to behave in a stable manner with my Spirit 1.5Meg board inside.

I built a bus-terminator a couple of days ago and it finally worked!!!
Yeah!  ( thanx Brad )

BUT!  In the interm, I bought a Supra 4x4 controller ( with an Adaptek
board and a Seagate 40M drive ) and now that I finally got the memory
to behave with Lucas, Lucas bombs with the Supra controller on.

Symptoms:
- it does not consistently get to the kickstart loading with any of
  the chips I tried and with the Supra connected with the terminator.
- assuming it gets that far, it will spuriously crash with random and
  wierd errors ( 000000004.?, 00000000a.? ) very quickly.
- if I try to run SupraMount it hangs ... no Guru sometimes.

Yuck.

My first impulse:
"Hi, how much for a 2500?  $5100?  Yikes!"

Second impulse:
"For sale: one Lucas board, works fine."
I really want an 020 and 881, especially if and when the ram board
comes out, but I want the hard drive more!!!

Third impulse:
"For sale: one Lucas board, one Amiga 1000, Spirit inboard, ..."
"Hi, I'd like to order a 2500"

But I like my 1000!!!  I like kickstart, I a morbid sort of way.

*sigh*

Any ideas????
