There is a mention of kermit for apollo sr10 in the news group 
comp.protocols.kermit (Info-Kermit Digest V9 #6)
One of the topics is : "C-kermit on apollo under SR10!"

Briefly summarized, it talks about making some minor changes to the 
makefile and does not specifically talk about the dn10000.

Also the "aavsys.hlp" file from a kermit server shows as of apr 4 89:
