Shi) Organization: University of California, Irvine - Dept of ICS Lines: 20 ...i'm in the market for some disk drives for my apollo workstations (dn4000 and dsp10000) and wanted some advice. i have about 11.5K to work with and am in serious need for some more diskspace. the 4000s have 150Mb drives while the 10000 has 358Mb drives. i understand that if i want to use a 600Mb drive i need the new controllers. which means more money. any ideas on the best way to spend my money. what about 3rd party alternatives. any good/bad experiences? also, how does maintenance work? will apollo cover it? are there "lifetime" warranties (ie with emc memory) thanks ed
