This is a multiple response. Thanks to all who have responded...I'm really
glad to know that i'm not alone!

That would explain the errors that my users keep getting, tho. We are 
using Mentor Graphics tools, and their EXPAND tool is the only one that they
see this error in. I guess I should take that up with them.

But how does this explain that I've gotten this error from shell commands 
like ARGS and WHILE? Sometimes some of the commands in /com give me this 
error. Aren't they debugged sufficiently to not overrun their stacks?
