I have heard that I can do it on the II by bypassing the ROM on the SCSI card... Can anyone out there give me a hint on how I can acheive this?! The alternative is have one of my friends with a MAC do the low level format then I can do the partitioningon II. In order to do this though, I need to find someone who has the software that will allow me to do the low level format on a MAC. Do any of you Net Mac users have such an animal that will format an ST506/412 type drive through the Adaptec 4000 SCSI controller? If you do, PLEASE e-mail it to me, or post it to your binaries group as I would greatly appreciate it! Mucho thanks in advance! Later - Dan Vachon - !ucbvax!rutgers!att!drutx!dvac
