I would strongly recommend AppleWorks 2.n (the classic version that works on the //c and the //e, *NOT* AppleWorks GS) for the word processor. Classic AppleWorks is an integrated system with a word processor, spreadsheet, and data base. It does not include a spelling checker, but for that, I would recommend the TimeOut QuickSpell add on. This program (along with the many other TimeOut routines) can be invoked directly from within AppleWorks.
