Here is some interested information concerning Apple Computer, Inc.  (Note:
Reprinted without permission from the Times-Advocate, Tuesday, April 18, 1989)

Apple Reports drop in earnings -- As expected, Apple Computer today reported a
drop in earnings, saying second quarter net income decreased 29 percent
compared to the same quarter last year.

The figure went from $79.7 million to $56.4 million while earnings per share
were 44 cents compared to 61 cents for the second quarter of 1988.

Net sales were $1.2 billion, a 44 percent increase over the net sales of
$867.4 million a year ago.
