A IIc requires a 12V minimum input voltage, such as from a car battery,
nor more than 15V.  As for the display, good luck, you'd be better off
trying to interface it with a personal electronic typewriter.

If you want to make a IIc (Or Laser 128) portable you'll need a good
steady power source.
