One thing you might check is the vertical sizing knob on the back of
the monitor.  The same thing happened to me.  Turned the computer off
and back on and the monitor went crazy.  Though something was fried
in the computer but decided to check the monitor.  Lucky for me, I
probably saved myself a $200+ motherboard swap (but thats another
story :-) ).
