I had a Supra 2400 baud modem, it worked for half a year, then one of the main chips fried -- it has negative voltage coming out several "wrong" pins. Anyhow I was upgrading to a Telebit TrialBlazer soon thereafter, so I never did try to get it repaired. Since the chip blew, I don't think you can blame the Supra design necessarily -- but who knows? -- - John M.
