I recently picked up STTEX and would like to start using it. I take it that I need a mono monitor for this. I've been pricing them and the best I've been able to do is $169.95 from some place in New York. Is this a good price or does someone know of better one? Also, I know there is a dvi-to-postscript program for tex/dvi on UNIX. Is there such a thing on the ST? Is it possible to compile the UNIX source for this on an ST? On another subject, I just happened to catch a second or two of "Computer Chronicles" last night. They mentioned Atari's Portfolio - mostly the basics like it has a QWERTY keyboard and the like. They did say that it had an 80X8 (or something by 8) display. The commentator also mentioned that another company was going to make a similar device later this year that would have a 24 line display.
