Without knowing the exact arguments supplied to remsh, I can only guess
that this is due to the conversion from generic device files to
cnode-specific device files.  If you are passing a device file as an
argument, then you will likely see this sort of behavior.  Read the
update info document (/etc/newconfig/Update_info/to.6.5) for more
details on cnode-specific device files.
