I've got a Paradise VGA Plus card, one of the first VGA clones out.
I have seen an undocumented 640x400 256 color mode in action, which
seems reasonable since only 1/4 of the memory is used in 320x200
mode.  PICEM 1.9 supports this mode, if that helps.  CRTC register
settings, along with any caveats (I noticed snow during video
access) would be greatly appreciated.
