Message-ID: <1703@deimos.cis.ksu.edu> Date: 17 Apr 89 04:53:51 GMT Sender: news@deimos.cis.ksu.edu Reply-To: paryavi@harris.cis.ksu.edu (Saiid Paryavi) Organization: Kansas State University, Dept of Computing & Information Sciences Lines: 26 Here is the situation: I just bought an AT clone with the following configuration: 20MHz 80286 AWARD 286 Modular BIOS N3.03 NFS 2 MEG RAM 80 MEG Hard disk etc. The problem is that the machine recognized 640 K RAM as main memory and 1024 K as extended RAM upon startup. However, that is not the end of my problems. I cannot run Ventura because it tells me I am out of memory. I cannot run anything under Windows for the same reason!!!!! What is going on with this machine? I would really appreciate any help in this regard. Thanks in advance -- Saiid Paryavi Computer Science Dept.
