Wrong. Paradox will directly import dbase data files, including field 
specs. While FoxBase is fast, it still requires a copy of the program, and 
does not offer anywhere near the kind of long text support of Clipper, nor 
can it hold a candle to Paradox in terms of network support or ease of use. 
It is an excellent package, agreed, but one need consider the application 
and environment. I use them all, depending on the data requirements.
