The modem works just fine with serial card 'A.' With card 'B' however, the modem doesnt want to acknowledge the reset command from my program. ProComm works just fine. The port addressess are correct, the IRQ line is set properly, there isnt a two-port conflict...its not out-of-date software (asynchronous routines by Phil Burns, PibTerm 4.1) Sigh...
