I am using Compaq 386 with DOS 3.31 and I could not compress with VOPT and PCTools Compress v5.2 at all, even they are developing for Dos 3.31/4.01 up to 512 megB hard disk!! I have tried with 130 meg B partition without any problem. I have over 38 megB free from 300 megB. VOPT will freeze but can be warmboot to restart dos again. I tried to run PCTools Compress (newest version) but there is an error message on analyse and sorting directory that there is not enough memory to do this. I have 5megB memory and I use either CEMM or QEMM v4.2 memory management. I have tried to reboot without any config.sys or autoexec.bat in hoping to get more memory etc. Norton Utility Advanced v4.5's SD will work fine but this is interactive only. I want to run non-interactive batch file during night. Please advice me.. thanks in advance... Willy
