Message-ID: <2743@tank.uchicago.edu> Date: 16 Apr 89 01:28:10 GMT Sender: news@tank.uchicago.edu Distribution: na Organization: University of Chicago Graduate School of Business Lines: 16 I was using a Memorex 2S/4D 135 TPI diskette in my normal Mac drive. The diskette was used elsewhere before, so it wasn't fresh out of the box. I think I read somewhere once that doing that kind of thing can lead to too much oxide getting on the drive heads, or something like that. Is that true? I only used it in my drive once or twice. Any need to be concerned? Anything I can do about it, if so? Any advice -- emailed or posted -- much appreciated.
