One of my favorite alerts is just a plain A440.  If I needed to wipe my HD
or the System (6.0.2) on it, I would copy the A440 snd from my old System 4.2
disk and reinstall it.  Well, my 4.2 floppy bit the dust in a crash, and the
A440 has mysteriously vanished from all the places I would have sworn I'd
archived it.  A friend who works at a DTP place down the street sent me one,
but it's a Mac II sound which plays at the wrong speed on my Plus.

I'd be eternally grateful if some kind soul could send me a snd which plays
a nice A440 _on_a_Mac_Plus_ -- don't worry about the name and ID #, I can hack
those here.
