It is not consistent, and usually restarting solves the problems, but I'd like to make sure that nothing serious is wrong. The only INITs I use are GateKeeper 1.0 (will upgrade soon) and MacsBug (not the debugging tool, but a screen-saver like Fireworks). Basically, what is ID=85 error, and what should be done?
