We're looking at the I've been waiting for a "low" cost color card for the SE/30 and it looks like it's finally arrived. There will be an article in next week's MacWeek. Generation X (408/739-4570) has a card that supports the AppleColor monitor for $995 and a monochrome card for the Apple Portrait for $525. So far this is the only card I know of that is designed to support the AppleColor monitor.
