Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 12 A friend of mine needs to transfer a PICT2 or IRIS file to a UNIX mainframe for image processing. The file contains a grey-scale bitmap. The format needed on the UNIX side is an ASCII file that contains a table of the grey-scale values of a 512 by 512 sized bitmap. Are there any Mac graphics programs that save in some sort of ASCII format with the values of all the pixels? Thanks. +++ Lloyd Lim Internet: lim@iris.ucdavis.edu Compuserve: 72647,660 US Mail: 146 Lysle Leach Hall, U.C. Davis, Davis, CA 95616
