Since the best rumors come from people in the know, and the people who let them know might not like them letting the public in on information which would benefit the public (as opposed to keeping the public in the dark, which seems be the desire of large companies), the in-people should send anonymous messages to various magazines that publish rumor columns, and are likely to be able to keep their mouths shut.
