I recently purchase a IIcx. Trying to save money on a color monitor, I purchased a Magnavox Mac-compatible color monitor. The monitor is fine (not quite as sharp as the Apple color monitor -- to me anyway) except that all green colors are mapped to red and vise versa. So far this hasn't caused any problems but I figer it will be a bother if I ever get some color applications which use color in some important way. After all, I spent enough money to have the system work right. Any ideas. It seems that whoever wired the monitor cable (someone at Phillips I guess) switched to leads. I don't want to mess around with the cable (the monitor's on warranty for two years) but I also don't want to send it back (as I am now fully mac-dependent). Any ideas? With your help, the apple will go green yello orange red not red - yellow green dark green!
