Many people in the class have been exploring hypertext , hypercard and the ideas of Ted Nelson. So I wondered if anyone would be willing to share their thoughts on hypertext in general, hypercard in specific and Ted Nelson in person. How useful will the idea of hypertext be in the future? Where does hypercard fit in the future? Will Xanadu ever work and what sort of use would you use it for. Ted Nelson said he viewed Xanadu as a vessel to be filled. With what? He didn't know. What would you do with it? Please be nice since we will both be at the lecture on Monday. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thom Gillespie
