I have no trouble getting Plot3D to do axes labels, ticks, etc. If you will send the problem you are trying to do to me, I will see if it can be solved. If I can't do it, I have over 300 members of the Mathematica User Group mailing list who probably can. Wolfram's people read my mailing list. I suggest you send Mathematica questions to the sci.math.symbolic newsgroup instead of this one. More Mathematica people read that group's messages.
