Lines: 17 First, thanks to the many people who responded to me on getting GNU Emacs up and running on the 4D machines. I got it running last week just fine. Almost... This brings me to my next problem. I got quite a surprise when I pressed c-SPACE and got a space character response, rather than set-mark. This is not an emacs problem, but is happening at the tty level. Why are my control-space characters being converted to spaces? Is it something in the hardware? or in the terminal driver? I have done nothing unusual to cause this. What can anyone suggest? many thanks again, Dan Haug Internet: haug@austin.lockheed.com uucp: ut-emx!lad-shrike!aihaug
