Thanks for the response to my LW II baud rate question.

General consensus was that Sun 3.5 will support 19200 but not 38400.  I
tried using 19200, and it seems to be working just fine.  As before, 38400
baud was no go.  Copies of the responses are available on request.

It's great to know there are so many people willing to share expertise.
