I have directed the console output to port ttya using the EEPROM, and have changed the ttytab? file to reflect the fact that the terminal is a vt100. The problem is this: If I am logged in to that machine and direct output to /dev/ttya instead of /dev/console, the machine crashes. Is this a bug ? Or have I forgotten something. This is not a major problem for us, once I direct output to /dev/console, everything works just fine. Thanks in advance.
