I am trying to format a Maxtor XT-8760S (760MB) drive on a Sun 3/60
(version 3.5 SunOS), without success.  My documentation specifies the
following disk geometry:

		1632 cylinders
		  15 data heads
		  54 sectors/track

I have danced several numbers with diag (a typical example would be 1620
ncyl, 2 acyl, 15 head, 54 sectors, 1 interleave) but format always throws
up on it.  If I tell diag that the drive is a Micropolis 1558, it formats
fine.  (Of course, I lose a few hundred MB in the process.)

If anybody has successfully formatted one of these drives, I would love to
hear from you.
