Specifically I would like documentation on the interface to the engine itself, including connector pinout, timing, and programming information. I have the HP service manual but it's not real helpful. What I want to do is some hardware hacking on the printer. If anyone has this information or a source please send me mail; the usenet address tektronix!fpssun!lfm is probably most reliable. Also you can call me at (503)245-3271. I'm also interested in any information on the LaserJet print controller, especially the font cartridge 50-pin pinout. I'll also buy a used LaserJet+ or Laserwriter1 interface board if you have or know of one for sale. Thanks a bunch! Larry Meadows -- Larry Meadows @ FPS ...!tektronix!fpssun!lfm ...!nosun!fpssun!lfm
