I used our PD LaTeX distribution.

Your choice.  I use LaserWriter for text and CMR for math typsetting.
There appear to be a few symbols missing from the LaTeX fonts provided
with my copy, so I get some peculiar summation signs....

I like it and use it a lot on a Mac II.
