This should be available from your local Sun sales office, publication number FE146-0/20K, 11/87. It contains a comparison of NFS and RFS design philosophies; (basically if you have all SysV.3 machines, RFS provides full Unix semantics; if you have a large network or heterogeneous hosts (e.g. VMS or Mis-DOS or BSD) NFS is the better choice.
