Keywords: awk, file extensions Message-ID: <2425@lll-lcc.UUCP> Date: 17 Apr 89 17:04:27 GMT Organization: Lawrence Livermore Labs, LCC, Livermore Ca Lines: 13 We're using awk (i.e. nawk) a lot lately, and wonder what the world uses for a file extension on awk source files. ".a" is used for assemble code, so we suppose people use ".awk", although a one-letter extension would be nice. Is there any standard? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" -- Vegetius -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARPA: mike@lll-lcc.llnl.gov (mike@lll-lcc.arpa) UUCP: { sun,lll-crg,rutgers }!lll-lcc!mike U.S. MAIL: LLNL ; P.O.
