I would like my uucp to try for different protocols depending on what
io device the uucico is running on at the time.

Is there a way to specify the preferred protocol?

uucico involved are 4.2BSD, 4.3BSD, and SunOS3.5.

Source is available (to add protocol support to the sun version...)
