i typed in "fsck -t /dev/hd0a" and it ran ok, reported all ok
i typed in "fsck -t /dev/hd0b" and got the message

 "ROOT INODE UNALLOCATTED
  TERMINATING"

then no commands would execute

now when i power up i get the message

"no root" over and over

machine is an ALTOS 586 running Xenix...

is there any solution????????????????

i have no boot floppy...

please help
