(Sco xenix [23]86) Keywords: fsck inode short Message-ID: <459@mrecvax.UUCP> Date: 21 Apr 89 20:19:07 GMT Reply-To: tron@mrecvax.UUCP (Carlos Mendioroz) Organization: M.R.E. y C. Bs. As. Argentina Lines: 18 Mkfs manual states that you can only specify up to 65500 inodes in the command line, but you can arrange a proto file to have more than that. The problem with doing so is that almost every utility that comes with xenix thinks that an inode number is < 2^16. Fsck belongs to this family... Has anybody managed to make a large filesystem with more than 64K inodes in xenix ? Sco guys: Have you a fsck that can work with such a filesystem ? -- Carlos G.
