I have been using for several months now, an Adaptec AHA-1450 SCSI adpater with SCO Xenix 2.2.4 as distributed by the Tandy Corporation. I believe I am right in saying that this version was not available directly through SCO. However, SCO now has version 2.3GT available (according to several SCO employees that I've talked with), which has support for the Adaptec also. It may support other SCSI adpaters, but I can't tell you for sure (SCO ?). It should be a nice step up from 2.2.4, since 2.2.4 supports only 2 HD's and one tape drive, while 2.3GT is reported to support at least 7 SCSI devices, and believe even more with additional adpaters. ------------- James B.
