However, when I try to run them on a VS3100 running Xqdss (a 4 bit deep display), they don't work. It appears that the XCopyPlane() is a complete no-op. It changes neither the foreground nor the background pixels in the destination window. Oh, if instead of making my source Pixmaps 1bit, but instead build them in in 4bit "color" and use XCopyArea(), it works fine. Does anyone have a fix for this?
