How do I ...:

	I would like to create a number of icons and move their position
dynamically on a window, without affecting the backround.  For example
I would like to move planes (as in aero~) on a geographic map.  Tiles
and stipples look ok, but I don't know how to copy them to the window
and move them arround, at least XCopyArea or XCopyPlane complained with a 
BadDrawable.  Any code fragments or doc pointers would be most
helpful, thanks.
