Question 1 How can one make the application appear directly on the screen at execution time instead of waiting for the window manager ? I have tried to use *toplevel.wait_for_wm: FALSE and *toplevel.override_redirect: TRUE in my /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults file, but neither seem to work. Why ? Question 2 Is it possible to use *menupaneshell.save_under: TRUE to prevent a menupane from erasing underlying graphic in a window when called upon (pulled down) or is there a more convenient way that I am overseeing ?
