Klingert) Organization: University of Karlsuhe, West-Germany Lines: 15 Changing from X10 to X11R3 on SUNs 3/50 + 3/60c (SUN OS < 4.0): 1. Why is the X11 server so slooooowwwww compared to the old one? 2. The server crashes and leaves the keyboard messed up that all it does is producing messages like : kbd buffer flushed when overflowed. The machine is still okay thought. But killing processes wouldn't hook up the kbd to the console. (setkeys, keymod won't help) 3. I got MIT patches (1-7) after I patched myself. Since I need to apply them selectively I would like to know which one (if any) fixes the kbd problem 4. Got B/W Purdue Hiccups (1+2). before|after|while you put MIT stuff in place ? I bet they don't help much. Sorry if I asked the regular Qs. I'll come up with more exciting stuff next time -- Arnold
