After finally making Xchess compile (I had to change "-lX" to be "-loldX -lX11", I tried the following things from the "Xchess" directory: xchess -p ../gnuchessr - seems to work, but I want to play the computer xhess -c -p ../gnuchessr - draws all the pieces but the very last white rook, and then hangs xchess -c -p ../gnuchess - lets me make a move, then dumps core with a seg. fault. What am I doing wrong? Please respond directly to me; I'm not on this list. --Dave
