I tried compiling and installing it, but temacs crashes somewhere in
malloc. This behavior occurs for all combinations of Emacs and/or SysV
alloca and/or malloc.

Has anyone gotten 18.53 running under SysV R3.2? What about SysV R3.2
with X windows?
