I'm looking for the source to GNU-Emacs.  I have tried to ftp the packed
tar file previously without much success.  My problem is that I am using
Multics as an intermediary repository in a two step transfer process to
a non-networked system.  Multics uses 9 bit bytes and I am trying to
deal with going from an 8 bit to 9 bit and back to an 8 bit system.  The
unpacked source would be much easier to deal with.  I understand that
the source is available on tape for $150.00 but unfortunately I would
have to save my pennies for quite a while before being able to afford
this.  Anything you can do would be appreciated...  -ear
