Keywords: nntp software Message-ID: <2249@zardoz.UUCP> Date: 14 Apr 89 06:34:28 GMT Organization: Custom Product Design Inc., Mission Viejo, CA Lines: 12 Sorry to bother everyone in this news group with an elementary question, but here goes. My site currently has heavy uucp news traffic. In the next month or so, I will be directly connecting to the internet, and will add at least 2 full nntp feeds. Is there more than 1 version of nntp software? Does TMN or C news supprt nntp and uucp at the same time reliably? And if I use nntp, is it easier to use rrn on my local network, or should I stick with NFS mounts of /usr/spool/news and /usr/lib/news? Thanks in advance, Neil Gorsuch neil@cpd.com uunet!zardoz!neil
