Personally, I'd like to see ont.sf-lovers focus on people,
events and works connected with Ontario, or Canada perhaps
if that's too limiting.  There is the broader news group
available for universal matters.  This could include local
conventions, where to get good books, Canadian authors,
and (here's my personal bias) possibly act as a forum for
would-be sci-fi writers to share information.  The Bunch of
Seven board, based in TO, is excellent for this sort of
thing but unavailable to me for $ reasons at the moment. I
suspect the same is true for many others not living in TO.
