Does any one have any experience using
INGRES version 8 (the free data base, not
the one from Relational Technologies)?

I was thinking of using it to replace some
simple database applications that used to run
on Mistress (too expensive for our new machine).

I have compiled the sources and the
demo examples seems to work fine. Any comments
would be welcomed.
